How do I book an appointment for Counseling?

You can reach me in my Boca Raton office in South Florida via phone at (561) 706-1274 or by email at [email protected] to book your therapy session. If you are unable to reach me, I will get back to you within 24 hours during business days.

Do you accept health insurance?

I am an in network counselor for most health insurance plans and I accept Medicare, as well. However, should I be out of network with your particular provider, I will provide you with a monthly statement with proper diagnostic codes to submit to your insurance carrier for re-reimbursement of your counseling sessions.  Please contact me to find out about your specific insurance coverage for counseling.

What forms of Payment do you accept for Counseling?

I accept cash, checks or credit cards at the time therapy services are rendered. Direct deposit payments through PayPal are also accepted, prior to our counseling sessions.

What is your availability?

I can usually fit you into my schedule within a few days.

What are your office hours?

I see my women counseling clients Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM-7:30 PM.

What type of clients do you see?

While I specialize in providing services to women, I also work with couples, and occasionally with men.

In addition, I see clients with ADD, depression, anxiety and life transition issues. As a certified grief recovery specialist, I often work with individuals who are grieving the loss of a partner, friend or pet.

As well as my Counselor training, I am also a Certified Hypnotherapist and Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and work with individuals suffering with anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), phobias, smoking cessation and weight loss.

What is your experience and training as a therapist?

In addition to a Master’s degree in Social Work, I have taken numerous continuing education courses and certifications.  I am a  Hypnotherapist with specialized certifications in Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT) as well as of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).  In addition, I am a certified practitioner of Transpersonal Therapy, Integrative Breath Work and Grief Recovery.  You can read more about my counseling background here.

How Long is a Counseling Session?

Our first session will be a full hour in length. All subsequent sessions are 50 minutes.

How long will I have to be in therapy?

The length of therapy will depend upon your goals, however my intent is to help you solve your problems as quickly as possible.

After our first session, I will work up a treatment plan that we can review together on our second visit.  The treatment plan will include your therapy goals and the approximate number of visits you will need to reach them.  We will periodically review your treatment plan and make sure we are on target during the subsequent sessions.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

I require 24 hours notice for cancelation of appointments.
